PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:           

 

2004-2007:      Circulation Single Copy Sales Representative:  Duties included acting as liaison between Single Copy distributors, route drivers, plant foreman, resulting in the improvement of service; daily monitering of Hawkers' performance in their various locations; assisting route drivers with any problems regarding their weekly collections; monitering each dealer's circulation sales and supplying any necessary sales or company advertising materials.opening up any new accounts when required.

 

2001-2004:      Circulation Home Delivery Sales Representative:  In addition to also performing the above-referenced duties as a Single Copy Representative, other duties included controlling zone territories; promoting the sale of newspapers; designing carrier routes; handling customer service complaints and sales promotions, in addition to ensuring timely and efficient service to home delivery subscribers; weekly re-capping with each dealer concerning their territory responsibilities and seeing to it that any problems are resolved in a timely manner.

 

1990-2001:      Circulation Distribution Agent:  Duties included employing a staff of adult home delivery carriers, who would report to me concerning the collections and service of home delivery Daily News customers assigned to me in a particular territory.  While in this position was able to take over territories that had been neglected (circulation had been weak) and re-build them up through sampling and proper service to become sucessful adult carrier routes.

 

 

 

1994-2001:      Circulation Home Delivery Drop Captain:  Duties included supervising staff of distributors in their day to day delivery duties; assisting in the hiring and training of all new distributors; assisting in the annual distributor incentive programs for the purpose of increasing circulation; reporting to Home Delivery Sales Rep regarding all aspects of distribution, collections, sales, complaints, service issues and all other duties concerning the day to day operations of the facility itself.
